How much chicken and rice for dogs Is Recommended:

Adult Dogs eat around 2-3% of their total body weight. Large size dogs will eat lower in percentage and small dog breeds will eat more. Toy dogs can eat 5 percent of their body. Feeding quantity may vary from age to age as well.

How much chicken and rice for dogs by weight:

 5 to 6½ ounces of food for small dogs with the weight of 10-pound (3 to 4 percent of body weight).

 For large dogs around 2 pounds of food a day for a 100-pound dog that is 2% of total body weight.

1 to 1½ pounds of food for a medium-sized 50-pound dog (2 to 3 percent of body weight).

 half pound to three quarters (​3⁄4) of a pound (8 to 12 ounces) of food for a 25-pound dog (2 to 3 percent of body weight).

2 pounds equal to 32 ounces and we will consider the weight of cooked dog food. 

You should feed your dog twice a day, divide the total amount of food into two equal meals. 

Keep a close eye on your dogs’ weight whenever you change diet and always adjust the nutrition and amount timely. Increasing and decreasing the amount should not be more than 10% at a time.

This feed excessive use may make dogs with low activity rate couched potato. They may gain fat due to low activity, so it is recommended to start with a small quantity and scale it with the dog’s weight.

Boiled Chicken And Rice Dog Food Recipe:

Basic Ingredients: 1 boneless skinless chicken breast, 2 cups white rice, and water.

Boil chicken in water until it gets completely cooked, It may take from 15 to 30 minutes, make sure the chicken is completely cooked in the water.

Take out the chicken from the broth.

Now boil the rice in the chicken broth until they get cooked and become soft enough.

 Add the cooked chicken to the rice and mix well with a fork.

Allow rice and chicken to cool before serving to your dog.
